Canadian localities East to WestCanada is a second largest country on Earth comprising 6.7 percent of the total land mass. Stretching from the Atlantic to the Pacific coast of North America for some 5,158 kilometers. Because of its diverse geology Canada attracted lots of mining activity throughout its history and because it a such large country lots of road construction required a lots of stone quarrying. Due to the mining and stone quarrying industries many new mineral species and large quantities of high quality specimens have been retrieved, studied and put in to the museums and many private collections world wide. Because of the abundance of interesting localities and variety specimens as well as strong mineral collecting home base I decided to collect and specialize in in Canadian minerals. Here inside this web store I will try to offer wide range of fine mineral specimens not necessarily “trophys” but rather pleasing to the eye yet mineralogically interesting while also affordable. |
