Quartzsite is located in western Arizona, just 20 miles east of the Colorado River on I-10. It’s been a rockhound’s paradise since the 1960s. These days, it’s also a mecca to well over a million visitors each year, most of whom converge on this small town in a wave of RVs during the months of January and February.  Eight major gem and mineral shows as well as vendors of raw and handcrafted merchandise, totalling over 2,000 vendors, peddle their wares to snowbirds, collectors and enthusiasts.  Quartzsite is the mineral and gem lover’s dream location every first two months of each year.

The world’s largest and longest gathering of rockhounds, mineral dealers, lapidarists, mineral collectors, jewelry makers and vendors make up many display groupings on both sides along the I-10 for about 10 miles in Quartzsite, Arizona.
I will be set up at Desert Gardens, one of the display grounds, which is the easiest for access and parking in Quartzsite.

This Annual Gem and Mineral Show offers an opportunity to find great specimens at low prices! Looking forward to seeing my old friends and making new ones!

Wow Jonathan!

This is the most beautiful specimen I have ever seen that is not completely out of my league. And I just can’t think of a better piece at all.

I really love the Lazulite specimen you have sold me. Even the little pieces are fantastic. All the specimens I have from you are.

You have such exciting specimens and keep the magic of collecting alive and well. I think it is a fine job you do offering people such beauty, rarity and wonder.

I have come to enjoy and love many of the minerals from you more with passing time too. I believe that is the mark of high quality – true treasure. Well done and thank you.

Best regards, Laura

new website design!

14 years ago I published my first mineral specimen website. It was done by the primitive cut and paste method and using a 360K pixel camera. It was considered cool then and it brought in lots of transactions. But I stopped updating it and now it looked like a scarecrow compared to what other websites look like. So it was high time for a renewed website with a brand new look and brand new suite of Fine Mineral Specimens.

 Enjoy our new website design:
