NEW! Calcite Pink Dolomite from Marcil Quarry -009

Calcite is a calcium carbonate (CaCO3) the most stable polymorphs are aragonite and vaterite. It has a Mohs hardness of 3, a specific gravity of 2.71. Crystals are trigonal-rhombohedral but rombohedra are uncommon form. In places like Mont Saint Hilaire it mimics just about every mineral species in the quarry.
